Mihi spes omne in memet

Señorito

Haven’t you met someone that ment a world to you? That came in the right time?

Well, for me was a horse, yeah, a four legged angry beast that wanted to kill me. He saved me from “myself”.

White, cocky, with that I’m gonna test you attitude from the start. A classy bastard.

The first time I rode him, he did whatever the hell he wanted. Went wherever he pleased, ignored every command, moved like I wasn’t even there. He wasn’t wild or aggressive—just made it damn clear he wasn’t gonna obey just anyone.

He didn’t make it easy for me.
I didn’t make it easy for him.
It was a back-and-forth. A goddamn power struggle.
And in the end, I learned to respect him.
And he learned to respect me.

Sometimes.

Because if you got too comfortable, if you zoned out for even a second, if you weren’t fully in control, he knew. And he’d take advantage. He’d steer off the path, pull some weird-ass move just to throw you off, do anything just to prove he could still mess with you whenever he felt like it.

But when things clicked, when we were in sync, when we both decided today wasn’t a day for war—

It was different.

That’s when it all just flowed.

Until he decided to test me again.

Because Señorito, the bastard, never missed a chance to show off.
